Marquetry is a very old craft, developed in 17th century Italy, wherein fitted pieces of various wood veneers form an image or pattern that is applied to another piece of wood. My designs are generally inspired by the flora and fauna in my environment or others I have visited; but specific design requests may be commissioned.
